masoret Eli-te training for counselors
may 8-10, 2026 Zakarpattia, Ukraine
A key focus of the seminar was the creation of a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for children and young camps’ participants. councelors discussed safeguarding principles, emotional well-being, diversity, and accessibility, while exploring practical approaches to fostering a sense of belonging within the camp community. Special attention was given to promoting mutual respect, active participation, and equal opportunities for all participants, regardless of their background or individual needs.
“Some sessions really changed the way I think about camp leadership. I realized that inclusion is not only about making sure everyone is present, but also about making sure everyone feels seen, heard, and valued. The practical examples and group discussions gave me many ideas that I can use to help every participant feel connected to the camp community.”
