masoret summer camp 11-13 y.o.

july 9-16, 2025 Zakarpattia, Ukraine

Through engaging workshops, creative projects, and interactive games and lessons, campers explored essential themes such as Jewish identity, cultural diversity, dialogue, respect, and teamwork. The program integrated European values into the learning process, fostering inclusivity, empathy, and mutual understanding. By combining fun activities with meaningful discussions, the camp encouraged personal growth, strengthened community bonds, and nurtured a spirit of curiosity and openness among young participants.

“Participants discovered that disagreement does not mean conflict, and that listening to multiple perspectives can actually strengthen dialogue. It was a great exercise in tolerance and democratic conversation, but also a very good session to understand how we can look at different things from different points of view.”
Daria Zakharchenko, kharkiv

The final reflection helped participants summarize what they had learned about themselves and others. They connected their personal values with Jewish traditions and European principles of dignity and respect. Many shared that they feel more responsible for how they treat others and want to pay more attention to this in the future.
