masoret Winter Camp 2025
december 25-29, 2025 Zakarpattia, Ukraine
The winter overnight camp was a five-day program for teenagers aged 14–17, built around the central concept of balance — balance between different life values, personal qualities, social roles, and responsibilities. The camp aimed to help participants reflect on how to remain socially active and engaged while maintaining emotional well-being, empathy, and respect for others. The concept of balance was explored through the lens of social activism: balancing personal opinions and collective needs, freedom of expression and responsibility, leadership and teamwork, emotional involvement and rational thinking. The program was intentionally designed to show that meaningful social engagement requires not only motivation and action, but also the ability to listen, reflect, and consider different perspectives.
“Through group tasks and reflection, participants experienced the challenges of cooperation and shared responsibility. The session highlighted how communities are built through dialogue, compromise, and mutual respect. Teens demonstrated increased awareness of their role in creating inclusive and supportive environments, both within the group and beyond the project.”
