The introduction of the topics of inclusion and gender equality has been received very well by the younger participants, but rose some tensions in group dynamics among the teenagers, especially when discussing the social roles of men and women. We held workshops on self-awareness and personal boundaries, tying them to the European value of respect for human rights. Group activities built empathy and ecological communication, stressing inclusion and intercultural dialogue. A creative workshop on reusing materials taught environmental responsibility and sustainability. Overall, staff noted that camps strengthened community spirit, promoted awareness of European values, and gave participants tools to act responsibly toward themselves, others, and the environment.
