One-day workshop for counsellors in Georgia, organized by FAZS
june 7, 2026 tbilisi, georgia
This seminar equipped participants with essential tools for creating safe, meaningful, and impactful camp experiences. Through interactive workshops and practical exercises, participants explored professional boundaries, harassment prevention, conflict management, and effective teamwork. Emphasis was placed on personal responsibility, respectful communication, and fostering inclusive environments that support the well-being of every participant. Attendees also developed skills in educational program design, event facilitation, and camp planning, learning how to translate vision into engaging daily experiences. By combining reflection, collaboration, and practice, the seminar strengthened participants' leadership abilities and preparedness to serve as responsible role models within the community.
βThe session on partnership and conflict management was especially meaningful because it encouraged me to reflect on my communication style and the role of trust, feedback, and mutual support in successful cooperation. I also gained a deeper understanding of how educational goals, group dynamics, and camp programming are interconnected. After this seminar, I feel much better prepared for the summer camp, more confident in my leadership abilities, and motivated to apply the new tools and ideas I acquired throughout the day.β
