One-day workshop for counsellors in Ukraine led by Masoret
march 14, 2026 Zakarpattia, Ukraine
The one‑day workshop for informal educators focused on strengthening inclusive, ethical, and developmentally sensitive educational practice. Building on previous learning, participants explored how adolescents learn at different developmental stages and how educators can adapt their leadership styles and educational language accordingly. Sessions on developmental pedagogy, group dynamics, and group roles helped participants better understand how diverse cultural and personal backgrounds shape group interaction and belonging. Through practical exercises and reflection, educators developed strategies for creating safe, supportive, and participatory learning environments that respect individual dignity and difference.
“Before this workshop, I hadn’t fully considered how group dynamics can influence a person’s sense of safety. The session on group roles and dynamics was especially meaningful for me. It made me realize that I often take on a more passive, observant role, even when I have ideas to contribute. Through this experience, I understood that different types of leadership are valuable in a group, and that my perspective also matters. It encouraged me to participate more actively and confidently in future programs.”
