The online conference was held on May 13, 2026 and was dedicated to strengthening leadership in informal education, with a particular focus on setting educational goals, supporting pedagogical teams, and responding to the real challenges faced in camp environments. The program opened with an introduction and continued with three substantive sessions, covering the differences between a director and a leader, practical approaches to working with a challenging child in camp, and the question of where educators can find strength and resilience in demanding contexts.

The conference brought together professionals from different educational and camp-based projects for an interactive exchange of experience, combining lectures, case analysis, group discussion, and playful reflective formats. As part of the ELI-TE framework, the event contributed to professional development in leadership, inclusion, and team resilience, while also providing practical tools for use in non-formal educational settings and creating space for dialogue on the current needs of madrichim, facilitators, and camp directors.

“Networking is very important to me, because it’s where new ideas, thoughts, and insights from my work emerge—ideas I want to bring to life. The forum gives me a “fresh perspective” and encourages me to look at the things I work with and encounter every day in a new light. For me, this is one of the few places where I can grow professionally, because in our field, it’s important not only to give a lot to many people but also to receive quality input in return—the world of education doesn’t stand still, and I want to develop and grow alongside it. I’m grateful to the forum for this opportunity!”
